THE DONKEY - LAGA DIAG
Zapotec Legend
was over God to witness the flood lasted forty days and forty nights. On the roof of the world had gathered at their favorite sons, who escaped the flood. To entertain them, and not get bored up there, wiping the land, they told stories, beautiful lies. Ameno, as is the Creator to tell lies, I was astonished at all the animals of creation around him. It was agreed as they recounted the story of the origin of the universe, who was waiting water to go down and the sun dried the earth, then sent one of the animals it was closer to that abuts the land to see if the sun had already dried. God had so beautiful lie to their children that the animal continued to pay attention to the story, and ignored the order.
For the second time God commanded, to that animal embedded in the narrative, which look out from the roof of the world to see if it was dry land. Again no animal obeyed, who preferred not to miss the stories of the Creator.
The third time, God interrupted his narrative, and with eyes full of anger, addressed the challenged and shouted:
Go, Donkey!
A humble rose from the animal's side, but at the time their ears alert and well-made increased greatly, and since it was the name of a donkey, which God gave him.
